Before the listeners’ eyes, a musical organism comes to life: guitar, electric cello, didgeridoo, piano, drums, hang drum, shofar, electric saxophone, and layers of sound meet in one living whole.

Reinhardt Buhr is a South African multi-instrumentalist, composer, and live-looping artist. His journey began with the guitar, which he picked up at the age of nineteen, and over time evolved into a distinct musical language — multi-layered, organic, and created live through instruments, loops, and the intuition of the moment.

Transformation plays an important role in his story. After a period of addiction and deep personal crisis, Reinhardt found a new direction in faith. Since 2016, his music has become a form of prayer expressed through sound.

Today, his performances move millions of listeners around the world. They are drawn not only to his remarkable musical skill, but also to the authenticity of an artist who does not separate his art from his own life story.
